Privacy policy

Last updated: May 26, 2026

Who we are

CentauriZon Inc. is an information technology consulting firm incorporated in Quebec, Canada. The person responsible for the protection of personal information is Martin Thomas, President of CentauriZon Inc. For any questions regarding this policy, please reach out through the contact form on this site.

Information we collect

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide through the contact form: your name, email address, organization name, and the content of your message.

We do not collect browsing data, do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and do not employ behavioural tracking tools.

Why we collect it

This information is used solely to:

  • respond to your contact or consultation request,
  • maintain a professional relationship with you if you become a client,
  • follow up with you in connection with your original inquiry.

Your information is not used for unsolicited marketing and is not sold. It may be disclosed to technical subprocessors strictly required to operate the site and send contact-form-related emails, as described below.

Retention

Your information is kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and, where applicable, for the duration of the business relationship. After that period, it is deleted or anonymized.

Hosting and subprocessors

This website is hosted in Canada. Pages and contact form processing run on that infrastructure.

Resend is used only to send emails triggered by this site's contact form (notification to our team and a confirmation email to you). Resend is a transactional email provider with servers in the United States; it acts as a subprocessor and does not process your information for any other purpose.

Contact form data is transmitted over encrypted channels (HTTPS/TLS) between your browser, our server, and Resend's API. CentauriZon professional mailboxes (@centaurizon.ca) are hosted in Canada, separately from the Resend service used to send messages from the contact form.

Transfers outside Quebec

Sending contact form emails through Resend involves transferring personal information outside Quebec (United States). We conducted a privacy impact assessment (PIA) considering, among other factors: the limited nature of the data (contact details and message content), the purpose (responding to a contact request), security measures in transit, Resend's contractual commitments regarding confidentiality and security, and the low expected volume of submissions.

We remain accountable for personal information entrusted to our subprocessors and ensure the level of protection remains adequate under Quebec Law 25.

Your rights

Under Quebec Law 25 (An Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information), you have the following rights:

  • Right of access: you may request to view the personal information we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: you may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Right to erasure: you may request deletion of your information, subject to any legal retention obligations.
  • Right to portability: you may request your information in a structured technological format.
  • Right to withdraw consent: you may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us through the contact form and describe your request. We will respond within the timeframes required by law.

Security

We apply reasonable and appropriate security measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

In the event of a privacy incident presenting a risk of serious harm, we comply with the reporting obligations under Law 25: notification to the Commission d'accès à l'information (CAI) and, where applicable, to the affected individuals.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date of the latest revision is shown at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
